The Industrial Mathematics KTN has increased its team by 3 staff since the release of the Annual Report 2006 last November in response to the opportunities that it sees emerging.

Dr Claudia Centazzo joined the KTN in December 2006, and Dr Tim Gardener and Dr Rebecca Gower both joined the KTN in early 2007.

These positions were created to reflect the increasing demand for mathematics by industry. The three new members of staff will contribute to the development of the KTN's contacts with industry and will enhance the prominent role of the Industrial Mathematics KTN in bringing fresh thinking to difficult problems and accelerating business innovation.
