The British Applied Mathematics Colloquium 2009 (incorporating the 51st British Theoretical Mechanics Colloquium) will be held at the University of Nottingham from 7th to 9th April 2009.
The colloquium will be hosted by the School of Mathematical Sciences, and will be held on the University Park Campus.
Participation is welcomed from researchers in any area of applied or applicable mathematics. Active involvement from PhD students and Postdocs is particularly encouraged.
The conference will start on the morning of Tuesday 7th April, and conclude on the afternoon of Thursday 9th April, 2009. The programme includes invited plenary lectures, minisymposia, parallel sessions of contributed talks, and posters. An outreach event including a public lecture will take place on Monday 6th April.
