The 16th ECMI conference will take place from 26-30 July 2010 in Wuppertal, Germany. The conference will be devoted to mathematical modelling, analysis and simulation of problems arising in an industrial context. There will be invited lectures by distinguished researchers, mini-symposia, contributed papers and posters. Refereed conference proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag.
The conference will be held at the Bergische Univertsität Wuppertal following up ECMI 2008 in London. As with all ECMI conferences, ECMI 2010 will emphasize the role of mathematics as a unique overarching industrial resource. The conference will highlight industrial topics such as:
- electronics industry;
- multibody dynamics;
- shape and size in medicine;
- finance;
- life science,
Plenary speakers include A. Abas (Airbus), H.G. Bock (Heidelberg), M. Chaplain (Dundee), H. de Gersem (Leuven), D. Jeulin (Paris), A. Jüngel (Wien), P. Rentrop (München).

- submission of proposals for mini-symposia 19 March 2010;
- early-bird registration 2 April 2010;
- submission of papers and posters 16 April 2010;
- acceptance of all proposals 30 April 2010.
