Scottish Technology Showcase 2010, Glasgow, 26 May 2010

Scottish Enterprise are hosting Scotland’s only national cross-sectoral technology showcase, the Scottish Technology Showcase 2010, which is to be held in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow on 26th May 2010.

The Scottish Technology Showcase is a free to attend event and will focus on four themes: digital economy, low carbon economy, health innovation and high value manufacturing.

This one day event is for decision makers across all business sectors and will equip them with technical expertise and inspiration. It is an opportunity to access innovative products and technologies aimed at providing practical solutions to real business challenges.

The Scottish Technology Showcase 2010 is an opportunity to:
  • keep pace with a huge range of emerging technologies;
  • network and collaborate with a range of businesses;
  • share ideas;
  • meet a broad mix of key industry decision makers;
  • attend free demos and seminars;
  • get expert advice on funding sources.

The Showcase includes five areas, maximising networking and commercial opportunities for exhibitors and delegates alike. The 5 areas are the Technology Zone which has 140 exhibitors featured in areas represented by the four themes; the Opportunity Zone where you can attend 5-minute presentation slots by selected exhibiting companies; the Matchmaking Zone where you can arrange 20-minute meeting slots with exhibitors and delegates (booked ahead of the showcase); the Workshop Zone which has workshops, seminars and keynote sessions run throughout the day; and new for 2010 there is the Funding zone which has experts available to discuss public sector support.
