Guidance for applicants - Briefing Session
A briefing session for the Underpinning Defence Mathematics (UDM) Programme was held at the Royal Academy of Engineering on 12th January 2010 4pm-6pm. Attendance at the briefing session was encouraged (but optional) for those interested in submitting a proposal for an MoD research contract as part of the UDM Programme.

At the Briefing Session the call for proposals was explained in the wider context of the UDM Programme and detailed guidance was provided on the use of the MoD online portal for applicants. The slides presented at the Briefing Session are available below. They include a step-by-step guide for applicants with screen shots from the MOD online portal generated for the specific example of applying for this call for proposals. The slides also provide links to several further sources of guidance. The final page of the pdf file below is a record of the questions raised and answers given during the Briefing Session.
